1.    This Website has been created as a resource for global demographic research through a shared initiative between the Department of Social Policy and Intervention and the Department of Sociology, University of Oxford. The Website and those parts of its content that do not consist of blog posts or articles have been created by, and are the property of, the University of Oxford. Unless otherwise indicated, the blog posts and articles posted on this Website are taken to be the property of the poster. The trademarks appearing on this Website are protected by the laws of England and by international trademark laws.

8.    The University collects e-mail addresses and other contact details, together with any comments provided voluntarily via this Website. The University also collects information to enable usage analysis. This information is used to improve the content of the Website and for the supply of information.
9.    These terms are governed by English law, and the Courts of England have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to them.
10.    If any of these terms is found to be illegal or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the term(s) in question will be severed; but the remaining terms will continue in force.
